MAXhpkit introduces MAXTRONIC. This device eliminates the need to open your car's computer ever again. The unit functions as an EPROM chip to the computer, and chip images are downloaded to it via USB cable from your laptop computer. Features include battery backup, real-time tune changes, and intuitive user interface.

The MAXTRONIC can be ordered by itself, or pre-loaded with the chip image of your choice via the Chip Selector for 951MAX chips, or other MAX chips via make/model selection.

Chip upgrades for modification changes or finer tuning will be available via download. You will purchase your upgrade just like upgrading a chip. Revision changes will be free downloadable upgrades. When base-line changes take place that effect one of our product lines, users will be allowed to upgrade to the new revision for free.

The Maxtronic also comes with a switch for switching between up to 8 possible software images. Street, race, valet, your option. And when ordered with our software we will include a valet mode where the low end timing is relaxed and a low rev limit set for security.

Future development for the MAXTRONIC include a real-time tuning interface. This will be a computer program that you run on your laptop while connected via USB cable to the MAXTRONIC. You will see your current fuel and timing levels for idle, partial throttle maps, and wide open throttle maps, and have bounded parameters to adjust these values to achieve your optimum tune. This could be done by a passenger while driving around, or while on a dyno. Data from your data logger can be used in conjunction to optimize Air Fuel ratios and boost levels for turbo cars.

The MAXTRONIC is also an open solution. If you have other vendor's software want to transfer it to the MAXTRONIC we will loan you an eprom reader on a 100.00 deposit. It will read your existing chip, save it to your computer, and then you can download it into the MAXTRONIC. This gives your software vendor the ability to statically tune your chip image for you remotely, and send you new software without shipping more chips.
