Multi-board

MAXhpkit is proud to announce the addition of the Multi-board to our product line. This adapter replaces your current chip with a new memory chip which has 8 times the capacity of your stock chip. This adapter can be used in both 24 and 28 pin sockets so that it functions in nearly every ECU, whether it be Porsche, BMW, or other Motronic or Motronic style ECU. All chip products MAXhpkit offers will now be moving to the Multi-board format. Soon we will not stock single-chip products, all performance products will be offered with the Multi-board adapter.

The Multi-board allows you to load up to 8 chips, or chip images, on one device. These images are easily selectable via a pushbutton DIP switch mounted on a cable outside the ECU for easy access for those who may want to switch maps often. We have added further value to your product purchase by including optional images at no additional cost, such as a stock image, a no-start image, and a valet image. When you order your chip product with the Multi-board you will specify which images you want in which positions on the Multi-board and you will be provided with printed instructions for the use of your adapter and a listing of image locations for your specific application.

New performance chip images can be added to the Multi-board and tailored to your needs. You may want a stock image, a street performance image, and a high octane or Race performance image that you have purchased from us. These images will cost 50.00USD each, in addition to the initial performance chip cost and adapter.

We will be upgrading the website and products pages to reflect the new product delivery scheme, and in doing so will add a new chip selecter application. Until that time, use the payment buttons below to order, and then use the Contact Page to specify the detail of your order as to which images you want in which positions and which optional maps you choose.

The Multi-board will also be made available in a 'blank' format, meaning you get the Multi-board loaded with a blank chip you can program yourself. This can be done by you or another vendor, as we have designed the Multi-board in an open architecture to allow the most flexibility in product delivery. The cost for a blank Multi-board will be $100.00 USD if ordered completely blank.

For those who want to add images of other chips they have purchased, and/or your stock chip, we will offer a package deal of the Multi-Board, Burn2 EPROM programmer, blank 27SF512 chip (can be re-written), and the Multi-Max software, which allows you to 'stack' chip images and create an output file the burner can write to the chip. This software allows you to print out your chip images as reference to switch position.

Some ordering suggestions for the 944MAX 944NA chip products would be the street image, the R image for 93+ octane, and the Race Gas image for 100 octane. For the 944 Turbo / S cars you might order images pertaining to your planned upgrade path. An image for a bigger turbo, larger injectors, or possibly E85 images when available. You may also want different tune images for different temperature or other atmospheric conditions if you travel from and to extreme changes which effect your performance. This is especially helpful in MAF/MAP applications. Or you may simply want to take advantage of the security of the no-start and valet images in addition to your existing MAXhpkit products.

All Multi-board products will have 10.00 added to final purchase for shipping and handling via USPS Priority Mail. Upgrade pricing applies to existing 'chip' customers, meaning if you already have a 944 chip, and you upgrade to the Multi-board you will send your old chip in when the Multi-board arrives.
